DORSET STUDENT LYING JOINT SECOND IN OKLAHOMA EVENT

NORMAN, Oklahoma - Baylor University women's golf finished Sunday's second round of the Schooner Fall Classic in 10th place after shooting even-par 280 at Belmar Golf Club. The Lady Bears have an overall score of 13-over 573 heading to Monday's final round. Senior Hayley Davis from Winborne, Dorset  is tied for second place after shooting 5-under 65 for an overall score of 5-under 135, one stroke back of Mississippi State's Ally McDonald. 
Davis' 65 tied the Baylor women's golf low round record, which had been achieved three times previously - Jaclyn Jansen and Lene Hafsten-Morch both shot 65 at the 2010 Price's "Give `Em Five" Intercollegiate, and Davis herself recorded a 65 in the final round of the 2013 NCAA Championships.
HIGHLIGHTS
• Baylor's even-par score of 280 was their lowest team round of the season by 24 strokes.
• Baylor ranks second in the 17-team field with a 4.87 par-5 scoring average.
• The Lady Bears had 53 pars in second round, placing them one back of the tournament lead.
• Five of the six Lady Bears had birdies in the second round for a total of 15 birdies as a team. Davis led the team with eight birdies; Byers, Lonardi and Maymon had two apiece; and Gateau-Chovelon had one birdie.

STAT OF THE ROUND
4 - the number of players in the 91-player field who have recorded eagles through two rounds of play at the Schooner Fall Classic. Byers is one of the four players after her eagle on No. 9 in Sunday's second round.
