LADIES EUROPEAN TOUR ELIMINATOR IN MOROCCO

GEMMA WEBSTER CLOSE TO CUT-OFF

LINE IN Q SCHOOL PRE-QUALIFIER

Glasgow's Gemma Webster is a little too close to the cut-off line for comfort at the halfway stage of the Ladies European Tour Qualifying School pre-qualifying tournament A at Royal Golf Dar Es Salam, Rabat in Morocco.
At the conclusion of 72 holes, the leading 29 and ties will qualify for the Final Q School at Marrakech from December 17 to 21.
Webster has had rounds of  78 and 77 for 155 and is currently sharing 27th position.
She is the only Scot competing in this event.
Other Scots are due to play in later pre-qualifiers while Laura Murray goes straight through the Final Q School on the strength of her consistently good performances on the LETAS developmental circuit.
Joint leaders on three-under 141 are Germany-born Olivia Cowan, daughter of English parents - her father, from Liverpool, is the club pro at Barbarossa GC - and United States-born Sophia Popov who also lists Germany as her home country. Cowan has shot 69-72, Popov 71-70.
