Finals.
Region
1 saw Skerries take on Castlewarden Golf Club. Skerries took an early
lead, winning the first two matches on the 18th hole. The back two
matches were called in.
It was a close call between Malone and City of
Derry in Region two. The third City of Derry match had an early win on
the 14th hole. The remaining matches lasted until the 16th, 18th and
19th respectively. The final result was 3 – 1
to City of Derry.
Cahir Park took on Castletroy in Region 3. Cahir
Park emerged the stronger side, winning their first three matches. The
13th proved to be a popular hole for the team as the two middle matches
secured wins of 7 and 5.
Region 4 saw Tuam take
on Slieve Russell. Both teams played very good golf but Tuam edged the
win. They sealed wins on the 14th, 15th and 18th.
