PETERHEAD FRESHMAN JUST OUTSIDE

TOP 20 FINISH IN TENNESSEE

Declan Addison from Peterhead, a freshman student at Brevard College, North Carolina, finished joint 21st in a field of 47 players at the Walters State Fall Classic over a par-72 course of 7,056yd at the Country Club, Morristown in Tennessee.
Addison had rounds of 79 and 77 for 156.
Brevard College team-mates Craig Stephen, pictured left, a freshman from Torphins, finished T24 with scores of 81 and 76 for 157.
A third Brevard student from Scotland, freshman Calum McAndrew from Fife, finished on 161 with rounds of 81 and 80. That placed him 34th.
Three players tied at the top of the leaderboard on one-under 143 - ~Warren Cheney (Tusculum) (75-68), Brad Hawkins (Tusculum) (71-72) and Matt Greenfield (Rend Lake CC) (69-74).
Tusculum (585) won the team title comfortably from Walters State (603) with Brevard College (608) third of seven.
