LONDONER NIXON WINS IN ARIZONA

Ross Dickson, pictured, from London, a final-
year student at Nebraska University, finished T11 with scores of 70-71-77 for 218 over a very long par-72 course of 7,517yd at Southern Dunes, Markopa, Arizona in the University of Wyoming Southern Invitational.
Winenr by one shot was Jared du Toit (Idaho) with scores of 69,68 and 69 for 10-under-par 206.
Seb Crookall-Nixon, from Cockermouth, Cumbria and a third-year student at San Francisco University, finished T26 on 224 with scores of 75, 74 and 75.
A total of 49 players took part.

FELLAS TOP BRIT AT FALL PREVIEW

Alex Fellas from Norfolk, a second-year student at Webber International University, Florida, finished T15 in a field of 111 players at the NAIA Men's Fall Preview tournament at LPGA International, Daytona Beach in Florida on October 4/5.
Over a par-72 course of 6,859yd, Fellas shot 71-75-78 for 224.
Three team-mates finished as follows:
224 Alex Fellas, a second-year student from Norfolk: 71-75-78 (T15).
230 Stuart Winsby, a third-year student from Northern Ireland, 76-77-77 (T39).
236 Sam De'Ath, a second-year student from Fleet: 83-75-78 (T66).
255 Matt Basey, a third-year student from Bristol: 86-84-85 (100th).
And the winner was ... Peter French (Johnson and Wales), a 6ft 3in student from Franklin, Massachusetts. He shot 73-72-70 for one-under-par 215.
Johnson and Wales also won the team title with a total of 873. South Carolina-Beaufort (889) were runners-up in a field of 19 teams..
