FULL SCHOLARSHIP FOR ROXBURGHE GC PLAYER
DANIELLE COMMITS TO ERSKINE
COLLEGE, SOUTH CAROLINA
Danielle Ker (The Roxburghe Golf Club, Kelso), with the help of United Sports, has been awarded a full golf scholarship at NCAA Division 2 Erskine College, South Carolina.
Danielle, pictured, who was a semi-finalist in last year's Scottish U18 girls' championship and played for her county in this year's Scottish women's county finals, will enrol next August.
United Sports have also gained a full scholarship worth $2,000 for Kirsty Beckwith (Alwoodley) at St John's University, Queens, New York, the alma mater of US PGA Tour player Keegan Bradley.
Four Scottish boy internationals who have signed up with United Sports with a view to attending US colleges from August 2016 are:
Matthew McCulloch (Portpatrick Dunskey), Jack Thomas (Irvine), Rory Franssen (Inverness) and Alex Chalk (Dumfries and Galloway).
