SCOTTISH GIRLS CHAMPION FIONA
COMMITS TO BAYLOR UNIVERSITY
Fiona Liddell, daughter of a Germany-based Scottish club professional and winner of the Scottish U18 girls match-play championship earlier this year, has given a verbal commitment to join Baylor University, Waco in Texas in August, 2016.
Fiona, pictured right, a Junior Vagliano Trophy team player for GB and I, has already won junior tournaments in the United States.
One Scot already on the Baylor roster is another former Scottish U18 girls champion, Lauren Whyte (St Regulus) from St Andrews.
Baylor's star player is Dorset's Hayley Davis who is in her final year at the Texas university.
