CATRIONA MATTHEW HAS PAR 72
DOWN MEXICO WAY
Catriona Matthew was one of the early finishers in the first round of this week's LPGA tournament, the Lorena Ochoa Invitational at a new venue - Mexico City.
The North Berwick player matched the par of 72 which had her in T19 position in a select field of 36 players, with most of them still to finish at the time of writing.
The Scot birdied the long second, bogeyed the fourth, 10th and 13th before getting back on track with birdies at the short 14th and 15th.
Christina Kim was the leader in the clubhouse with a seven-under 65.

Norway's Suzann Pettersen had a 71 to be T13.
