Delray Beach, Florida: Local favourite Meg Mallon  took the opening-round lead at the LPGA Legends Tour’s Walgreens Charity Championship.

Mallon, who lives in Delray Beach, carded a first-round score of 3-under 69 to lead by one from Danielle Ammaccapane of Los Angeles

At one-under 71 after the first round were Pat Hurst, Jenny Lidback, Alicia Dibos, Marilyn Lovander and Julie Inkster.
