CHARLEY HULL FINISHES  SECOND

 SANYA LADIES OPEN

Charley Hull achieved a second-place finish in the Sanya Ladies Open in steaming hot conditions at the tropical Chinese venue of Hainan island.
The kid from Kettering has finished the 54-hole tournament on nine-under-par 207 with rounds of 70, 68 and 69.
China's Xi Yu Lin, at 18 the same age as Charley, won by five strokes with rounds of 68, 67 and 67 for a 14-under-par aggregate of 202. It was her first victory on the Ladies European Tour.
Australia's Nikki Campbell and South Korea's Huei Ju Shih ended on 208.
Pamela Pretswell from Hamilton could not keep up the form of her second-round 66 and a closing 73 dropped her from T12 to a T19 finish alongside England's Holly Aitchison.
Falkirk-based American Beth Allen finished seventh on 210 (74-65-71).
Kylie Walker finished with a 71 for 218 and T43.
