MARK AT FIGHTING CAMEL CLASSIC
Old Dominion University students Charlotte Hindmoor, a junior from Darlington, and Rachael Walker, a sophomore from Dumfries, finished T18 and T22 respectively in a field of 52 at the Fighting Camel Classic at Keith Hills CC, Buies Creek, North Carolina.
Charlotte, pictured right, had rounds of 81, 76 and 74 for an aggregate of 231 (over a par-72 course of 6,026ydwhile Rachel scored 78, 76 and 79 for 233.
A third British player in the field, Radford University's Olivia Jay, a sophomore from York, finished on 250 with rounds of 86, 81 and 83.
The winner by one stroke was Sarah Bae (High Point with a four-over-par total of 220, made up of rounds of 70, 72 and 78.
Campbell University (895) won the team title ahead of High Point (908) and Nova Southeastern (910) with Old Dominion (911) fourth. Radford (968) were last in the nine-team field.
