AMY BOULDEN SEES HER FUTURE

IN THE UNITED STATES

Wales' number one female golfer, Amy Boulden has been telling Sport Wales TV about her ambitions to one day win a major and her thoughts on prize money inequality.
After a stellar amateur career, Llandudno club professional's daughter Boulden, 21, already a winner on the LETAS developmental tour, secured a third top-five finish on the Ladies European Tour in 2014 and reveals a move to America could be on the cards.
Amy was an outstanding GB and I amateur international in the Curtis Cup and Vagliano Trophy matches. Now a pro, she feels she is good enough to be chosen for the next Solheim Cup match against the United States.
That fixtures will be played at a German venue, St Leon-Rot, from September 18 to 20. Europe will be seeking to complete a hat-trick of victories and Amy could be in that team when the time comes.

Sport Wales, Friday at 19:00 BST on BBC Two Wales and available on iPlayer for seven days after transmission.
