PRESSURE IN MOROCCO

Michele Thomson (tied 52nd) and Alyson McKechin (sharing 57th place) need some good scores over the last two rounds of the current Ladies European Tour's Pre-Qualifier B competition at Royal Golf Dar Es Salam, Rabat, Morocco if they are to advance to next week's Final Q School
five-round tournament at Marrakesh.
Only the leading 42 and ties will qualify from a field of 75.
Ellon's Thomson has had rounds of 78 and 85 for a tally of 17-over-par 163 over a par-73 course while McKechin from Paisley, also a former Scottish women's amateur champion, has scored 83 and 81 for 164.
Nicole Garcia (South Africa) leads by three shots on three-under-par 143 with scores of 72 and 71. She is the only player under the 36-hole par of 146.
