BRADLEY NEIL STILL STRUGGLING IN JONES CUP

British amateur champion Bradley Neil from Blairgowrie continues to struggle against a field of US college students in the Jones Cup invitational tournament at Ocean Forest Golf Club, Sea Island, Georgia.
Neil repeated his opening six-over 78 in the second round, his card
without a single birdie and a triple bogey 7 at the sixth which was the 15th for him as he started at the 10th. He is sharing 57th place in a field of 84.
Leading Brit after 36 holes is Welshman Rhys Pugh with 73-74 for 147 which places him joint fifth behind all the way leader so far, American Kyle Jones (68-73 for three-under 141).
The second Scot in the field of 80-odd, St Andrews' Ewan Scott (Tennessee Chattanooga) is in T24 position with rounds of 75 and 76 for 151.
