Celine Boutier now No. 1 on World Amateur Rankings, Annabel Dimmock top Brit at No. 18
 
NEWS RELEASE FROM DUKE UNIVERSITY, NORTH CAROLINA
DURHAM, N.C. – Third-year Duke University student Celine Boutier from France has moved to the No. 1 slot in the latest women’s world amateur golf ranking system


Boutier, the 2014 Golfweek and WGCA National Player of the Year, closed her sophomore campaign at Duke by leading the Blue Devils to the NCAA Championship in May and collecting three individual victories.  
 Boutier, pictured left by Cal Carson Golf Agency, had a very busy and successful summer in 2014, which included qualifying for the U.S. Women’s Open for the first time in her career.

 She placed tied for 29th overall at The Evian Championship, collected rounds of 71, 70, 70 and 73 at the Women’s World Amateur Team Championship to help her France squad  tie for 11th and advanced to the second round of match play at the U.S. Women’s Amateur. 
 Boutier, who hails from Montrouge, guided France to the 2014 European Ladies Amateur Team Championship, posting a 6-0 record in match-play over the three days.
