Northern Ireland student now T6 at St Petersburg

SELFRIDGE SLIPS FOUR OFF PACE

Northern Ireland amateur champion Chris Selfridge, pictured, from Castledawson, a member at Moyola Park GC and a student at Toledo University, dropped out of the lead in the New Year's Invitational college tournament at St Petersburg on Saturday.
Selfridge has shot rounds of 70, 70 and 75 and is T6 on 215 with a round to go.
He has now four shots behind the three players sharing the lead on five-under 211 - Sam Horsfield (Florida University), US amateur champion Gunn Yang (San Diego University) from South Korea, and Michael McGowan (North Carolina University.
