Top 25 GB and I players in Women's World Rankings

The Women's World Amateur Rankings and the Ladies Golf Union Order of Merit will provide automatic selections for the nine-strong GB and Ireland Vagliano Trophy team to play the Continent of Europe at Malone Golf Club, Belfast on June 26-27, writes Colin Farquharson.
Susan Simpson, the LGU's Head of Golf Operations, confirmed for me today that the top four GB and I players in the World Amateur Rankings at a certain cut-off point (which I don't know yet) will gain automatic selection to the Vagliano Trophy team.
The top two in the LGU Order of Merit, at the same cut-off date, and who are not included among the four from the WAGR, will also gain automatic selection for the Malone match.
The LGU Selection Paneil will complete the squad of nine (one more than for the Curtis Cup) with their three selections.
The Junior Vagliano Trophy team of six will all be selected by the Panel.
I intend to display on Kirkwoodgolf every Thursday the leading points totals on both Merit tables.
