Bronte Law shares lead at Palos Verdes, California

Another GB and I team player Hayley Davis, a student at Baylor University, was their second-best scorer with a 69.
Baylor  - still not including Scot Lauren Whyte in their five-strong ling-up -fired the only under-par aggregate Sunday and hold a four-shot lead, after turning in a three-under-par, 281.  Arizona State (285), Southern California (287), Duke (289), Florida (291), Oklahoma State (292), Arizona (296), Wake Forest (296), Alabama (297), UCLA (297) and Washington (297) round out the top 11 teams. 
Duke were paced on the first day of the spring campaign by another GB and I player, Leona Maguire (Slieve Russell). The Irish player from Cavan carded a one-under-par 70 and is T7 overall.
Leona had four birdies over a five-hole stretch to be three-under-par after 11 holes. Bogeys at 15 and 16 knocked her back to one under and she finished with two pars.
In 13 rounds as a Duke student, Leona Maguire has now achieved 12 level or under par scores. She hit 14 greens and 12 fairways in regulation and had 31 putts on Sunday.
Bronte Law is tied for the lead at three-under 68 with Amy Lee (Southern California), Ying Luo (Washington) and Laura Lonardo (Baylor)..World ranked No 1 female amateur Celine Boutier (France and Duke) had a three-over-par 74.
 Boutier, who is from Montrouge, France, had four birdies on the day.
Leona Maguire's twin sister and Duke team-mate, Lisa, struggled in round one and signed for a 79.
