LYDIA KO SAYS THANK YOU WITH CHOCOLATE BARS
PARADISE ISLAND, Bahamas – Lydia Ko celebrated her rise to No. 1 in the Women’s World Rankings this week with each of the 120 players in the field at the Pure Silk Bahamas Classic.(from Golf.com, By Randall Mell).
Ko left a jumbo-sized Whittaker’s chocolate bar in the locker of every player competing at the Ocean Club Golf Course. The 17-year-old Kiwi, who has South Korean parents, told tournament officials she wanted to thank her fellow pros for the support they’ve shown her as a young pro.
Whittaker’s chocolate is made in New Zealand, where she grew up.
