NICOLA LEADS BY ONE IN SOUTH CAROLINA
Nicola Robertson from Dunblane leads the Converse College Spring Invite tournament after the first round with a 75 at Carolina Country Club, Spartanburg in South Carolina, writes Colin Farquharson.
A freshman at King University, Tennessee, Nicola coped best with testing conditions at the par-72, 5824yd course. She had two double bogeys but was able to cancel them out with four birdies.

LESLEY, HOLLY SHARING 27th PLACE
In the 13th USA Women's Invite college three-round tournament at Azalea City, Mobile, Alabama, former Scottish girls champion Lesley Atkins (Louisiana-Monroe University) from Gullane and Holly Robinson (Alabama-Birmingham), a fourth-year student from Sligo, are T27 with one round to go.
Lesley has had scores of 83-78 for 161, and Holly 80-81.
Dolores Brown (McNeese State) from Kent is 41st on 165 with 84-81
Katie Reid (Arkansas-Little Rock) from Dundee is T49 on 168 (82-86).
