DULCIE'S T28 FINISH AT AUGUSTA
Dulcie Sverdloff (Kennesaw State University), a second-year student from Southend, finished T28 in a field of 74 players at the Jaguar Intercolleagiate at Forest Hills Golf Club, Augusta, Georgia (March 13-15).
Dulcie, pictured above, had rounds of 76, 75 and 75 for a total of 226 over a par 71 course of 6,085yd.
She finished 17 strokes behind the winner by one, Lena Schaeffner (Coastal Carolina) who had scores of 71, 70 and 68 for four-under 209.
The Maryland University pair of Heidi Baek, a third-ehyar student from Suffolk, and Jessica Gregory, also third year but from Sittingbourne, finished T35 and T65 respectively.
Former England girl international Heidi shot 76, 73 and 81 for 230 while Jessica signed for 82, 83 and 80 and an aggregate of 245.
Coastal Carolina (867) won the team title ahead of Kennesaw State (873) with Maryland (922), 10th in a field of 13.
DUNDEE'S KATIE T47 FINISH IN ARIZONA
Katie Reid, pictured right, from Dundee, in her final month or two at Arkansas-Little Rock, finished T47 in a field of 94 players at the Rio Verde Invitational at Rio Verde Country Club, Arizona.
Megan Thompson (Missouri State), also a final-year student but from Ballyclare, Northern Ireland, finished T64 on 236 with rounds of 75, 78 and 83.
Joint winners on 218 over a par-72 course of 6,215yd were Seton Hall team-mates Alison Kruse (72-74-72) and Erin McClure (71-73-74) who finishwed three shots cldea\r of the field.
Not surprisingly, Seton Hall (896) won the team title but only by four shots from joint runners-up Northern Arizona and Toledo.
Arkansas-Little Rock (900) came sixth and Missouri State (912)_T7 in a field of 18 teams.
