Elizabeth Swallow earns third straight top-five finish for King,

Nicola Robertson makes top 20 at Charlotte

CHARLOTTE, North Carolina  – The King University women's golf team closed out the Wingate Intercollegiate Challenge with a round of 321 to finish sixth with a tournament total of 638. 
Elizabeth Swallow, pictured, a junior from Berkshire, earned her third straight top five finish, taking third this week at Olde Sycamore Golf Plantation. Swallow, who had a first-round 76, shot 77 in the final round to finish with a tournament total of 153 over a par-73 course of 5,872yd, giving her a third place finish, only three shots back of the individual medallist, Maddison Cox (Converse College) who shot 78-72 for 150. 
Swallow was also named to the all-tournament team. 
Samantha Taylor, a sophomore from Newcastle, was next for King, taking 15th with a tournament total of 159 after shooting 80 in the second round.
Nicola Robertson, a freshman from Dunblane, shot 83 in the second round, giving her a tournament total of 160 and placing her 17th in a field of 90 golfers. 

Anna Walker and Cortnee Young rounded out the Tornado with tournament scores of 167 and 169, respectively. Walker shot 81 in the second round while Young carded 84.
Limestone College won the tournament with a team score of 625 while Converse College and Newberry College were second at 635. South Carolina Beaufort and UNC Pembroke both shot 637 to take fourth. King was sixth at 638.

Danielle Burrell (Lincoln Memorial), a junior from Basingstoke, finished T77 on 183 (96-87).
