FORREST TIES FOR FIFTH IN OREGON
Grant Forrest, the 2012 Scottish amateur champion from North Berwick and a final-year student at San Diego University, California, finished joint fifth in a field of 83 at The Duck Invitational at Eugene Country Club, Oregon.
Over a par-72 course of 7,020yd, Forrest, pictured, had scores of 73, 72 and 72 for one-over 217. He finished five shots behind the winner by one stroke, Arizona State's Jon Rahm (71-71-70 for four-under 212).
Arizona State (863) also won the team title ahead of Washington (869) and San Diego State (879). San Diego (898) finished eight of 15 teams.
ROSS T14 AT CROOKED CREEK, KENTUCKY
Alasdair Ross, pictured, from Fort-William. a 19-year-old sophomore student at Union College, Kentucky, finished T14 in a field of 47 players at the 23rd annual SEKI college tournament at Crooked Creek Golf Club, London in Kentucky.
Ross scored 78, 81 and 70 for 229, the same total as team-mate Andy Dusek, a sophomore from Woking,
Not surprisingly, Cardinal Stritch (893) won the team title but only by one stroke from Union College in a field of eight teams.
DUNCAN JUST OUTSIDE TOP TEN IN TENNESSEE
George Duncan from Dunbartonshire, a second-year student at Lincoln Memorial University, finished T12 in a f ield of 58 players at the Trevecca Spring Invitataional at Hermitage Golf Club, Old Hickory, Tennessee.
Over a par-72 course of 6,822yd, George, pictured, had rounds of 70 and 77 for 147 - eight shots behind the winner by two, Travis Rodgers (Tennessee Wesleyan) (72-67 for 139)
Texas Wesleyan (571) won the team title from Lincoln Memorial (578) in a field of 11 teams.
Allan's T13 finish at San Antonio, Texas
Lawrence Allan from Alva, a third-year student at Southeastern Louisiana, finished T13 in a field of 88 players at the Lone Star Invitational at Briggs Ranch, San Antonio in Texas.
Allan, pictured below. scored 71, 69 and 72 for four-under-par 212 over a par-72 course of 7,247yd.
Team-mate Eamon Bradley from Mount Ellen shot 68-72-76 for level par 216 and a share of 28th place.
There was a tie for first place on 207 between Zander Lozano (San Antonio) (72-68-67) and Hannes Ronneblad (Texas Tech) (70-65-72)
Texas Tech (835) won the team title head of SE Louisiana (846) in a field of 16 teams.
Burgess makes top 20 at Jacksonville, Alabama
Andrew Burgess from Nairn, a freshman at Armstrong State University, finished T20 in a field of 46 players at the Grub Mart Intercollegiate at Silver Lakes Golf Club, Jacksonville in Alabama.
Burgess, pictured right, had rounds of 73, 73 and 78 for 224.
Over a par-72 course of 6,886, Englishman Tomacz Anderson, pictured below, a final-year student at Jacksonville State, scored his seventh USA college circuit victory with rounds of 71, 69 and70 for level par 210. This one was a joint win for the Brocket Hall GC, Hertfordshire member, as Brandon Beckham (Western Kentucky) tied with Anderson on 210, thanks to rounds of 67, 68 and 75.
They finished three strokes clear of the rest of the field.
Jamie Mist and Tom Lawton, two Jacksonville State players, finished T4 and T6 respectively. Mist, a sophomore from Hayling Island, scored 74, 70 and 71 for 215 while Lawton, a sophomore from Wilmslow, scored 69, 71 and 76 for 216.
Greg Miller's T12 finish at Rolling Meadows, Kansas
Other Bethany players, Oliver Rubenstein, a sophomore from Sheffield), Scott Farrall, a freshman from Conwy, and Matt O'Neill, a senior from Warrington, finished T9, 11th and 23rd respectively.
Rubenstein scored 71, 71 and 70 for 222; Farrall 76, 70 and 78 for 224, while O'Neill had rounds of 85, 73 and 75 for 233.
Bethany College won the team event by eighth strokes from Soutwestern College in a field of seven teams.
Daniel Thompsett makes top 20 at Warrior Invitational
Former North-east District boys' champion Daniel Thompsett from Aboyne, a final-year student at Rocky Mountain College, Montana, finished T19 in a field of 47 at the Warrior Invitational college tournament at Clarkston Golf Club in the state of Washington.
Daniel, pictured left, shot 80-76 for 156 - 15 shots behind the winner by three, Sean McMullen (Idao (72-69 for three-under 141).
Thompsett has won five times during his four years at Rocky Mountain College who finished third of six in the team event.
Glasgow student T46 in South Carolina
John Scott from Glasgow, a final year student at King University, Tennessee, finished T46 in a field of 90 at the Bearcat Classic at Greenwood Country Club, South Carolina.
Scott shot 73, 75 and 72 for a total of 220 - 17 behind the winner by five, Sebastian Barnoya (Flagler) (69-66-68 for 13-under 203).
Cameron Buist (Belmont Abbey), pictured right, a second-year student from Dunblane, finished T54 with rounds of 72, 74 and 75 for 221.
Ross Maietta (King) a senior from Bexley, finished T65 on 226 (72-76-78) while Keith Egan (Clayton State), a third-year student from Newbridge, Irleand, came 68th with rounds of 78, 73 and 76 for 227.
Egan's team-mate Ryan Haskell, a senior from Newport, Wales, was the highest-placed British or Irish finisher inT21 position with rounds of 74, 70 and 72 for level par 216.
BOLTON TIES FOR THIRD AT LIONS CLASSIC
James Bolton (Newman University, Wichita), pictured below, a third-year student from Bury, shot 74-70 for four-over-par 144 (par 70 course of 6,508yd) to finish tied third in the Lions Classic at Hardscrabble Country Club, Fort Smith, Arizona.
Team-mate James Hornsby, also a junior student but from Liverpool, finished T17 on 153 with rounds of 77 and 76.
Winner was Bradley Ferrell, Cameron University, SW Oklahoma. He had rounds of 70-69 for one-under 139 and a one-shot win from another Cameron student, Dylan McClure (70-71 for 141).
The field was 42 players strong.
Cameron University won the team title by 20 shots. Newman finished fifth in a field of eight teams.

Highlight of the tournament
for Alasdair was shooting the lowest round of the final day - a two-under-par 70. Only one other competitor matched this score during the three rounds.
Cardinal Stritch University players finished first and second with Justin Doeden scoring 71-72-74 for one-over 217 and Mario Funcic 73-70 and 76 for 219.Not surprisingly, Cardinal Stritch (893) won the team title but only by one stroke from Union College in a field of eight teams.

Miller had rounds of 77, 73 and 75 for 225
Bethany players finished 1-2-3 in this event with Nathan Limbacher (76-69-68) tieing with Jose Acevedo (71-73-69) on three-under 213 over a par-72 course of 6879yd and Ben Johnson, a senior student from West Sussex joint third on 216 with rounds of 70, 75 and 71.Miller had rounds of 77, 73 and 75 for 225
