Fraser Dawson's third top-5 finish in a row

Fraser Dawson, a Ferndown GC, Bournemouth member and a second-year student at Hutchinson Community College, Kansas, finished third this week in a field of 41 players at the Jayhawk No 1 tournament played at Falcon Lakes GC, Kansas City.

Over a par-72 course of 7,069yd, Fraser, pictured, shot 73-69 for a two-under-par total of 142.
It was Dawson's third top-five finish in a row and his performance helped Hutchinson win the team title by 10 shots from runners-up Dodge City in a field of seven teams.
Winner of the individual event was Zach Kirby (Dodge City) with scores of 72-68 for 140.
One of Dawson's team-mates, Dominic Lara finished second on 141 with scores of 69-72.
+Fraser Dawson was born at Bournemouth but his mother Laura is Scottish and so too are his grandparents on his mother's side ... so we'll claim him as an Anglo-Scot!
