By COLIN FARQUHARSON
Glasgow-born Rachael Taylor, daughter of Gerry Taylor, professional at Postmunster Golf and Country Club in Germany and and a second-year student at North Carolina State University, Raleigh, has been named by Golf Digest magazine as one of its "college players to watch," praising the Scot as one of the most improved players on the American women's college circuit over the past year.

Rachael, pictured,  has stepped up her college ranking by more than 360 places in 12 months and is now ranked No 75 by both Golfstat.com and golfweek.com.
Rachael is still coached almost daily by her dad although they are separated by several thousand miles.
Thanks to the development of Face Time, which is videotelephony, Gerry can see his daughter's swing on a regular basis and keep her on the right track.]
"Dad is the only golf coach I've ever had an I talk to or message him almost on a daily basis," said Rachael who is off to Florida this week to play for North Carolina State Uni in the Gator Invitational.
"We've never played in this tournament before - and it's a big one, so we are all excited."
