Heather Munro just outside top 10 in Florida

Monifieth's Heather Munro, a first-year student at Elon University, North Carolina, shared 13th place in a field of 101 at the MSO Ocala Spring Invitational women's college tournament at Juliette Falls Golf Resort, Ocala, Florida on Tuesday.

Heather, pictured, had three steady rounds of 75, 74 and 75 over a par-72 course of 6,113yd for an aggregate of 224.
The Scot, who will be 19 on April 10, finished 13 shots behind the winner by three, Tiffany Chan (Daytona State) (72-72-67 for five-under 211).

Munro outscored all the other Brits in the big field.
Sophie Olley (Embry Riddle), a senior from Leeds, finished T37 on 231 with scores of 76, 79 and 76.
Georgia Price (Florida Gulf Coast), a senior from Bude, England, filled T51 position with rounds of 77, 79 and 78 for 234.
Anglo-Scot Paige Kemp - her mother comes from Stirling - shot 78, 79 and 78 for T57 on 235. Paige, whose family home is in Essex, is a freshman at Stetson University, Florida.
Team-mate Eilidh Watson, a freshman from Dollar and a former North of Scotland girls champion, shot 78, 82 and 77 for 237 and joint 63rd place.
Hannah Robb  from St Michaels, Fife and a member at Scotscraig Golf Club, Tayport, continued her recent good form with an opening 75 but it all went pear-shaped after that with rounds of 89 and 79 for T76 on 243.
South Dakota State (899) won the team title by a single shot from Daytona State. Elon (906) finished seventh and Stetson (909)_ ninth in a field of 18 teams.
Florida Gulf Coast (924) came 12th and Embry Riddle (977) 18th. 

Dolores Brown T23 at Hoover, Alabama
 
Dolores Brown, a member at Royal Cinque Ports GC, Kent and a sophomore student at McNeese Stated finished T23 in a field of 65 at the Samford Women's Intercollegiate over a par-72, 6172yd course at Hoover Country Club, Hoover, Alabama.
Dolores had scores of 75, 82 and 80 for a total of 237 - 22 shots behind the runaway winner by 10 strokes with an aggregate of 215, Stani Schiavone (Ole Miss) who shot a brilliant seven-under 65 after rounds of 76 and 74.
Former Scottish U18 girls champion Lesley Atkins (Louisiana-Monroe), a sophomore student and member of Gullane Ladies GC, had scores of 87, 85 and 86 for 258. She finished 46th.
Mississippi (907) won the team title ahead of Samford (915) and Louisiana-Monroe (931). McNeese State (975) finished seventh of 10 teams.

Heidi Beck's T12 finish in South Carolina
 
Former England girl cap Heidi Baek from Suffolk, a third-year student at Maryland) had scores of 72, 76 and 71 for a T12 finish in a field of 93 players at the Briar's Creek Invitational at John Isle, South Carolina.

Heidi, pictured, finished 12 shots behind the winner by five, Daniela Darquea (Miami) who had rounds of 70, 72 and 65 for nine-under 207 over a par-72 course of 6101yd.
Alison Knowles (Michigan State), a junir from Mexborough South orkshire, finished T58 on 231 with scores of 80, 74 and 77.
Jessica Gregory (Maryland), a junior from Sittingbourne),finished T87 with 82-81-82 for 245
Florida (866) won the team title in a tight finish with Miami 868 with Texas Tech (876) third. Michigan State (896) tied for sixth place. Maryland (928) finished 16th of 17 teams.
