LEON FRICKER'S T4 FINISH IN FLORIDA

Leon Fricker from Ivybridge in Devon, finished T4 in a field of 73 players at the BCU Gary Freeman Spring Invite at LPGA International, Daytona Beach in Florida.

Over a par-72 course of 6664yd, Fricker, pictured, a third-year student at Bethune Cookman University - his brother is there too! - shot rounds of 77, 74 and 73 for a total of 224 - four shots behind the winner, Marcus Plunkett (Army) who scored 73, 73, 74 for 220 and won by one stroke.
Florida Atlantic (902) won the team title ahead of Army (909_ with Bethune Cookman (928) third of 13 teams.
