Thomas Neve Rocky Mountain Golfer of Week

WESTERN NEW MEXICO UNIVERSITY NEWS RELEASE
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colorado Junior year student Thomas Neve from Epsom was named the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Men's Golfer of the Week

Neve, pictured, paced WNMU to a third place finish as he finished behind three golfers from top-seed Nova Southeastern and one from St. Mary's.

Neve shot a 68 to finish fifth, as the first two rounds were cancelled due to weather. He recorded four birdies on the front nine to pace his round. He was the top RMAC finisher, as two other RMAC schools also competed.
This marks the second time in a row that WNMU has won the Golfer of the Week honour with  Calum Hill, a junior from Kinross, Scotland, collecting the award back on March 5. So far this spring, the No. 23 Mustangs won the Edward Jones' Cactus Thaw, placed second at the Bruce Williams Invitational and third at the St. Edward's Invitational. They will return to action on March 30-31 at the Tim Tierney Pioneer Shootout at the Hiddenbrooke Golf Course in Vallejo, California
