PAUL LAWRIE GOLF CENTRE'S £10,000 FOR TWO LADY
PRO EVENTS AT MURCAR LINKS, DEESIDE
The prize funds at Murcar Links (April 2-3) and Deeside (September 15-16) for the Paul Lawrie Golf Centre-sponsored 36-hole events on the PGA in Scotland's Ladies Tartan Tour will both amount to
£5,000.
First prize will be £2,250 at the Paul Lawrie Ladies Open at Murcar Links - closing date for entries through the PGA in Scotland website is March 26.
The runner-up will receive £1,000 and the third-placed finisher £650.
From third to 10th, the prize money will descend from £650 to £70.
The same set of prize awards will apply at Deeside Golf Club in September when the tournament will be titled the Paul Lawrie Golf Centre Ladies Invitational with the additional tag of the 2015 Ladies' Tartan Tour Championship, the winner also receiving custody of the magnificent Stewart Spence Trophy for a year.
Falkirk-based American Beth Allen, who plays on the Ladies Eurpean Tour, won the Ladies Tartan Tour championship last year.
The PLGC Ladies Invitational/Ladies Tartan Tour Championship will be open to the leading 21 (or the next available) in the Ladies Tartan Tour Order of merit at June 26. Points will be gained by the highest placed finishers at the four previous events -
Deeside (April 1-2)
Montrose Links (April 6-7)
Deer Park (June 2-3),
Marriott Dalmahoy (June 24-25)
Professional entry fee for 2015 Ladies Tartan Tour events stays at £75
The amateur entry fee is reduced to £50 although they will no longer be eligible for same prize money as the pros.
