Rachael Taylor in leading 10 at Tiger Classic
 
Scot Rachael Taylor, a student at North Carolina State, is lying T7 in a field of 89 players after the first round of the LSU Tiger Classic at University Club, Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
Rachael, whose father is a club pro in Germany, had a two-over-par 74 over a 6,251yd course to be two shots behind the three players sharing the lead on par 72 - Kelly McGovern (TCU), Hannah Wood (Oklahoma) and Leslie Cloots (North Carolina).
Brogan Townend (San Antonio) and Gemma Dryburgh (Tulane) are T12 on 75.
Jess Carty (Denver) had a 76 for T18.
Elizabeth Mallett (North Carolina) is back in T61 after an 81 while Becky McGeehan (San Antonio) had an 84)

Boote leading Brit over home California course

David Boote (Stanford), a junior from Epsom, is in T12 position in a huge field of 132 after two rounds of "The Goodwin" tournament at Stanford University, California over a 6727yd course with a par of 70.
David  has had rounds of 67 and 69 for 136 - eight behind joint leaders John Oda (UNLV) 64-64 and Will Cannon (UAB) 66-62
Seb Crookall-Nixon (San Francisco) has had scores of 65 and 72 for 137 and is T16.
Paul Dunne (UAB) from Greystokes, Ireland on 144 with scores of 73 and 71 and is T63. 
Former Scottish boys' stroke-play champion Josh Jamieson (Northwestern) from St Andrews is on 146 with scores of 77 and 69.
