Susan and Dorothy inside top 30 at La Manga
Scots Susan Penman and Dorothy Thomson had a round of 81 to be T28 after the first day of the Spanish senior women's open amateur doubles competition at La Manga.
Lesley Johnston and Ros Thoresen had an 84 to be T38 in a field of 44 pairs.
Leading the field with 69 are Spain's Casildaand Minna Kaarnalahti (Finland).
In second place on 71 are Debbie Richards and Katherine Russell from England.
