What's your view on why the fields are so small for the SLGA Champion of Champions' tournament?

Reference Editor's question: Why don't more players who are eligible to enter the SLGA Champion of Champions' tournament play in the event - a field of only 10 last Sunday at Glasgow Gailes.

Not entirely sure what the answer is. Having been at Glasgow Gailes on Sunday to watch I would like to say what a fantastic track to play and I witnessed some excellent early season golf being played by our top Lady Golfers. 
The event was well attended by Parents and it was an excellent occasion to catch up with friends after a long winter and we all had the usual good banter in the clubhouse afterwards!
