Top seed Emma Hale through to semi-finals
Ayrshire women's county championship top seed Emma Hale (Troon Ladies) progressed through to tomorrow morning's semi- final by defeating Louise Duncan (West Kilbride) in this
afternoon's quarter-finals by 3 and 1.  Her opponent will be past champion and eight times finalist, Catherine Malcolm (Prestwick St Cuthbert) who beat  another past champion Alex Glennie (Kilmarnock Barassie) by 3 and 2.
The other semi final will be between Audrey Thompson (Loudoun Gowf Club) who battled through at the 19th against Pauline Patrick (Irvine) and defending champion Linzi Allan (West Kilbride) who beat the 2001 champion Liz Keohone (Loudoun Gowf Club) by 5 and 3.
