COLORADO SPRINGS – With another Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference title added this season,Western New Mexico University third-year student Calum Hill, pictured below, from Kinross, Scotland  was named RMAC Golfer of the Year, while Head Coach Kent Beatty was named Men's Golf Coach for the second straight year

Trailing by six-strokes on the final day, the Mustangs came out firing to claim the RMAC title by five-strokes. WNMU caught fire this spring, finishing no worse than fifth in every tournament. That included three titles (Edward Jones' Cactus Thaw, Mustang Intercollegiate, RMAC Championships). The Mustangs recently moved to 13th in the Golfstat rankings.
Hill was named Player of the Year after tying for the team lead in top-10 finishes with six. The consistent Scot also had three placings in the top-five. He played in all 29 rounds this college season, averaging 72.69
 Top-five finishes include fourth at the WNMU Fall Intercollegiate, tying for third at Edward Jones' Cactus Thaw and tying for second at Bruce Williams.
Hill has had seven rounds in the 60s this 2014-15 season with a lowest score of 67 at the Price's Give Em' Five when facing a field full of Division I golfers.
Hill is ranked 56th nationally by Golfstat and first in the South Central Region

WNM third-year student Thomas Neve (pictured left) from Epsom, England,and sophomore All-American Harry Wetton (Bedford, England) were named to the First-Team. Neve has five top-10 finishes with two in the top-five. His top finish so far this season came at the Mustang Intercollegiate when he tied for fourth. He placed fifth at the St. Edward's Invite, tied for sixth at the RMAC #2 and tied for seventh at the WNMU Fall Intercollegiate.

Championships, just missing out on landing on the All-Tournament Team. His second round 71 was just one off the top mark for a round on the team during the Championships. He has fired two rounds in the 60s with a low score of 67 at the Price's Give 'Em Five against a mostly Division I field. Wettpm averaged 73.28 per round. He was also named RMAC Golfer of the Week once and has played in all 29 rounds this season. Neve is the highest ranked Mustang in terms of Golfstat placing him 54th and he is second in the South Central Region.
Wetton has carded six top-10 finishes (tied with Hill for most on the team), three in the top-five and two tournament victories this season. He won the Mustang Intercollegiate besting a field of 88 golfers and was named RMAC Golfer of the Week. 
He recently added a first at the RMAC Championships tying for first after his final round 70 was the best of any golfer in the third round. All of his rounds in the RMAC Championship were in the 70's.

With the automatic bid into the Super Regional from winning the RMAC, the Mustangs will now prepare for the Super Regional that will take place May 4-6 at the Hiddenbrooke Golf Course in Vallejo, California.
