Calum Hill T36 finish in California

Calum Hill from Kinross, a third-year student at Western New Mexico University, finished T36 in a field of 108 players at the Tim Tierney Pioneer Shoot-out at Hiddenbrooke Golf Club, Vallejo, California (March 30-31).
Over a par-72 course 6,740yd, Calum had rounds of 77-70-86 for an aggregate of 233, he finished 15 shots behind the winner by three, Kenny You (Dixie State) with scores of 76, 69 and 73 for two-over 218.
We suspect the last-day weather made the going tough.
Team-mate Thomas Neve, a junior from Epsom, was WNM's highest-placed finisher in T33 position with scores of 77, 74 and 81 for 232.
Ben Skinner, a junior from Hertfordshire and Loretto, finished T59 on 237 (76-81-80) and Harry Wetton, a sophomore from Bedford, brought up the rear for the WNM squad with scores of 73, 84 and 83 for 239 and a share of 65th place.
CSU-Monterey Bay (897) won the team title by 10 shots from Sonoma State. Western New Mexico (921) finished fifth of 20 teams.
