Snow hits Lanarkshire championship qualifying
The qualifying round for the Lanarkshire women's county golf championship had to be abandoned today (Monday) because the East Kilbride Golf Club course became unplayable due to snow.
All of those in the scratch championship who are able to play in the Matchplay rounds had completed 18 holes and so the qualifiers have been decided over 18 holes.
As many of those in the bronze championship were unable to complete their round its qualifiers have been decided over 12 holes.
Leading qualifier in the championship was Susan Wood, pictured today by Jean Macintyre, with a level par 73.
