North Devon's Jessica Bradley named
Conference Golfer of Year ... again!
MELBOURNE, Florida –
A total of 10 student-athletes have been named to the 2015 All-Sunshine
State Conference Women’s Golf Team.
Lynn University final-year student
Jessica Bradley, pictured, from North Devon was named Golfer of the Year for the second straight
year. Rollins’ Madison Lellyo was named Freshman of the Year and Julie
Garner was named Coach of the Year.
Voting for the All-SSC Women’s Golf Team was conducted among the league’s women’s golf coaches.
Bradley, a senior from Bishops Nympton, won three
individual tournaments and finished in the top five of six of the 10
tournaments she has competed in this season. Her 73.88 round average
leads the Fighting Knights (Lynn University nickname)
Bradley, Annie Dulman (Rollins), Emily Rymer (Florida
Southern), and Johanna Larsson (Florida Tech) are all first teamers for
the second straight year. Felicia Leftinger (Florida Tech) and Hally
Leadbetter (Rollins) are both repeat second teamers, and Samantha Smolen
(Lynn) is second team this year after making first team a year ago.
Lynn, Nova Southeastern, Florida Tech, Barry, Saint Leo,
and Florida Southern join the Tars at the South Super Regional that will
take place at Savannah Quarters Country Club in Pooler, Georgia on May
3-5. At a minimum, the top three teams will advance to the finals May
13-16, at The Meadows Golf Course in Allendale, Michigan.
