SILVER CITY, New Mexico – Calum Hill, a third-year student from Kinross, Scotland has added another academic award to his name. He has been named to the Capital One Academic First-Team All-District Team.
Hill was also named the RMAC Academic and Golfer of the Year. He holds a 3.87 GPA and is majoring in accounting. He tied for the team lead in top-10 finishes with six and has had three in the top-five.

Calum played in all 32
rounds of the Western New Mexico 2014-15 schedule, averaging 72.69strokes and posting an incredible 759-163
win-loss percentage (.823).
Top-five finishes included fourth at the WNMU
Fall Intercollegiate, tying for third at Edward Jones' Cactus Thaw and
tying for second at Bruce Williams.
The Scot had seven rounds in the 60's this
season with a low score of 67 at the Price's Give Em' Five facing a
field full of Division I golfers.
Hill is ranked 53rd nationally on the college circuit by
Golfstat and first in the South Central Region. He collected an RMAC
Golfer of the Week award during the season. He was named to the All-RMAC
Academic First-Team last year, as well as the All-RMAC Team as a golfer
the past two seasons.
