ANGUS NAME TEAM TO 

DEFEND NORTH TITLE 

AT MURCAR LINKS

Scottish county champions twice in the past three years, Angus women's golf team will defend the North Division title against Aberdeenshire, Northern Counties and Perth and Kinross at Murcar Links from June 27-29 with the following team:

Ann Ramsay  (Kirriemuir)

Gillian Paton (Royal Montrose)

Heather Munro (Monifieth)

Jackie Brown (Monifieth)

Jacqueline Sneddon (Alyth)

Jessica Meek (Carnoustie Ladies)

Katie Reid  (Monifieth)

 

Reserves

1 Jemma Chalmers  (Monifieth)

2 Claire MacDonald (Ladies Panmure Barry)

3 Frances Millar  (Carnoustie Caledonia)

 

Claire Robertson (Carnoustie Ladies) was not available for selection.

In last year's tournament at Pitlochry, Angus finished first ahead of Northern Counties eith Aberdeenshire and P&K sharing third place.

The four divisional winners go forward to the Scottish county finals at Stranraer from September 18 to 20.
