BROOMIEKNOWE v MURRAYFIELD FINAL
The 2013 winners, Broomieknowe, play Murrayfield in the double foursome format Edinburgh Inter Club Tournament at Turnhouse this afternoon.
The Broomieknowe team of Hannah Scott and Sandra Hennessy, Kate McIntosh and Wendy Nicholson, had a 4 and 3 victory over Kingknowe (Louise Fraser and Gill Petrie, Kate Rorke and Linda Caine)
In the other half of the draw, Murrayfield (Debbie Hay-Smith and Caroline Steedman, Caroline Johnstone and Pat Walkingshaw) beat last year's winners Glencorse ( Kirsten Blackwood and Valerie Hallam, Jessica Dalgetty and Caroline Kinnaird) by 3 and 1.
