Scots in with double whammy chance at Fairhaven

Scots are in with a chance of pulling off a double whammy in the individual boys and girls' events at the Fairhaven Trophies Junior Open Tournament at Fairhaven Golf Club, Lytham St Annes in Lancashire, writes Colin Farquharson.
Fifer Niall McMullen (Lundin Golf Club), with a pair of 73s for 146, is lying third, two shots behind the German leader, Raphael Geissler (66-77) in the boys' event with two rounds to go on Sunday.
Calum Fyfe (Cawder) and Joseph Bryce (Bathgate) are also in the mix. They are sharing fourth place on 147.

Chloe Goadby, a member of the St Regulus Club, St Andrews, is also two strokes off the lead in the girls' championship.
 She has scored 75-74 for 149 and is second behind Elizabeth Prior (Burhill) who is on 147 (72-75).
Shannon McWilliam (Aboyne), third in last weekend's "Helen Holm" at Troon, is sharing third place on 151 (76-75). In her second round, the 15-year-old had six birdies, six bogeys and six pars.
The international team event was decided over the first two rounds and England were the winners, ahead of Ireland and Scotland.
