Fraser Dawson  reaches NJCAA Div 1 Finals

Anglo-Scot Fraser Dawson was playing No.1 in the competition on  April 27 and he helped Hutchinson Community College reach the NJCAA Division 1 Championship Finals, to be played from May 12 to 15 at Sand Creeks Golf Club, Kansas.

Fraser tied for ninth in the individual tournament with scores of 75, 80 and 75 for 230 while his college qualified with a total score of 932.  The competition was played at Alvamar Golf Club, Lawrence, Kansas, a course 7092 yards long with a par of 72.

At April 30 Fraser was No 25 in the NJCAA rankings with an average score of 73.99 over 24 rounds.

 Both Fraser and Hayley Davis (Baylor University) are members of Ferndown Golf Club, Dorset and have been friends from a very young age.  During their summer and winter breaks whilst visiting home they often spend time together practising at Ferndown and supporting each other.
