Hayley Davis and  Bronte Law to the fore

 in Texas Regional

GB and I team-mates Hayley Davis (Baylor University) and Bronte Law (UCLA) are lying first and joint second after two rounds of the NCAA San Antonio Regional at Briggs Ranch Golf Club, San Antonio in Texas.
Hayley, pictured in action at the Astor Trophy tournament in Australia in January, a final-year student from Dorset, has had rounds of 67 and 68 for a nine-under-par tally of 135 over the par-72, 6350yd course.
She leads by one from Cheshire's Bronte Law who has had a pair of 68s for 136, the same two-round tally as that of Dylan Kim (Baylor) (69-67)
A third GB and I player, likely to be in the team of nine for the Vagliano Trophy match against the Continent of Europe at Malone Golf Club, Belfast next month is Charlotte Thomas, a student at Washington University. Charlotte is T15 on 142 (70-72).
Dulcie Sverdloff (Kennesaw State), a sophomore from Southend, has scored 75-74 for 149 and T61 position.
Lauren Whyte, from St Andrews, a freshman student at Baylor is T75 on 153 (75-77).
Ashleigh Greenham (Arizona State), a freshman from London is T84 in a field of 96 players. She has had rounds of 80 and 77 for 157.
The top five/six teams afte4r three rounds go forward to the NCAA Finals.
Tennessee (557) lead from Baylor (561) with Washington (562) third and UCLA and Texas A and M, both on 564
