Jacqueline Sneddon (Alyth) headed the 16 qualifiers for the match-play stages of the Angus women's county championship with a round of 74 in the qualifying round at Forfar yesterday
Jacqueline, pictured, was beaten by Ailsa Summers (Carnoustie) in the 2013 final. Ailsa won the title five years in a row from 2009 before losing to Ann Ramsay (Kirriemuir) in last year's final.
Neither Ailsa nor Ann played in the qualifying round this year.
No 2 seed at Forfar is Gillian Paton (Royal Montrose) with a 76. Claire MacDonald (Ladies Panmure Barry) also returned a 76 but Gillian won the card countback.
