Broomieknowe's Kate McIntosh, beaten in the second round of the 101st Scottish women's amateur championship at Monifieth Links last week, regained the form that made her the Midlothian county champion recently by winning the prestigious Munross Trophy 36-hole open tournament at Montrose Links today.
Kate, pictured, did it with two strokes to spare over former British girls finalist Elizabeth Mallett, from the Wishaw Golf and Country Club, Sutton Coldfield in the English Midlands.
