Macgregor v Davidson in Stirling and Clackmannan semi-finals at Braehead
 
Seven times champion Alison Davidson (Stirling) will play Louise Macgregor (Falkirk), title winner four times in a row from 2010 t 2013, will meet in Thursday night's semi-finals of the Stirling and Clackmannan women's county championship at Braehead.

It will be an action replay of last year's final in which Davidson beat Macgregor by 3 and 2 to halt her winning sequence

In tonight's round of the last eight, Macgregor won the first five holes and went on to beat Tricia Chillas (Stirling) 7 and 5 while Davidson bt 17-year-old Jennifer Allan (Glenbervie) at the 19th.
 British champion Alison went two up early but young Jennifer rallied to square the match at 11
Allan won the 12th and Alison 13th .Match square again. 
Jennifer won 14th to go one up.
They then halved 15,16 and 17 before Davidson won the 18th to get on level terms again and then prevailed at the first extra hole
 Christine Sikora, lady captain of host club Braehead, used all her experience to hold Claire Capocci until the 16th.
 Local girl Laura Bissett was just too strong for the more experienced Elaine Allison in the final quarter-final.
