Meghan T7 finish in NCAA St George Regional
and she earns place in NCAA Championship
Meghan MacLaren from Cambridge, a third-year student at Florida International University, finished T7 in a field of 96 players at the NCAA St George Regional at the Entrada at Snow Canyon course, St George in Utah.
Meghan had rounds of 72, 77 and 71 for seven-over-par 220 over a par-71 course of 6,255yd.
Meghan qualified as an individual (top three individuals who were not already in the top six team spots).
Winner by five shots was Dana Finkelstein (UNLV) with rounds of 72, 72 and 67 for two-under 211.
Denver's Jessica Carty, from Holywood, near Belfast, finished T79 on 240 (79-77-84).
The teams who qualified for the NCAA national final were Southern California (880), Stanford (886), Arkansas (892), UNLV (895), Virginia (898) and California (900) from a field of 18 teams.
