TO CLINCH EAST DIV TITLE

Midlothian will be going to the Scottish women's county golf finals at Stranraer in September as East Division champions.

They completed a clean sweep of the opposition at Scotscraig Golf Club today (Wed), beating Stirling and Clackmannan 7-2 (foursomes: 2-1, singles: 5-1)

East Lothian, the defending champions who beat Fife 5-4 (foursomes 2-1, singles 3-3) in the other third-day match, finished runners-up with two wins.
