Annabel Wilson (Lurgan), only 14 years of age, has won the Irish Under-18 girls championship for the second year in a row.
At Galway Bay Golf Club, the Junior Vagliano Trophy player beat top seed Julie McCarthy (Forrest Little) by 6 and 5 in the morning semi-finals and then Lisa O'Shea (Shannon) by 4 and 3 in the final.
Wilson opened the final with a birdie and followed with another on the sixth. This, combined with steady pars, meant she turned four up and finished out the match on the 15th greens

The second semi-final had been a tighter affair before O'Shea holed a putt on the 18th green to assure herself of a one-hole victory over Elisa Corcoran (Grange).
In
the plate final, Lauren Walsh (Castlewarden) beat Alice Eleanor Metcalife (Laytown and Bettystown) by two holes. .
