Connie Jaffrey T15 in Europe championship 

led by St Rule Trophy winner Ashok


St Rule Trophy winner at St Andrews at the end of May, Aditi Ashok from Bangalore, India continues to keep her nose in front of an international-class field at the European women's amateur championship at Murhof Golf Club, Austria.

Aditi  pictured right at St Andrews, has shot 67, 68 and 69 for an 11-under-par tally of 12-under-par 204 and leads by one stroke with 18 holes still to go.
Leading the British challenge is World No 3 Bronte Law, the English champion from Cheshire who istied eighth on 209 (71-69-69).
Gemma Clews is two shots behind her in joint 12th place.
Top Scot is former GB and I international Connie Jaffrey. The Troon Ladies player is returning to the form that earned her a place in the Astor Trophy team in Australia. 
She is sharing 15th place on 212 with England's Inci Mehmet.
Connie has had scores of 71, 71 and 70.
 Germany-based Rachael Taylor, a student at North Carolina State, moved up to T25 with a 69, one of the best third-round scores.

Repeating Scottish Under-18 girls champion Fiona Liddell, playing under the "Germany" banner, was one of the Scots who missed the cut. The others were Scottish champion Clara Young, Hannah McCook and Gabrielle MacDonald.
